Caring for your earrings

With proper care, your earrings can last a lifetime. Clay is durable but not unbreakable so you must avoid bending or dropping your earrings.

If you need to clean your earrings, wipe them clean with a damp cloth. 

Brass components can be cleaned using a jewellery cloth. 

It is important to remove your earrings before swimming or showering and avoid contact with sprays. 

Protect your earrings and prevent scratches by storing them in a safe place like a box or jewellery stand.

When travelling, store your earrings separately in a secure jewellery box to avoid damage.

I welcome requests for custom orders. I have worked with sporting teams, schools and dance groups to create unique and custom earrings.

Shipping

All items are sent within one (1) week of purchasing. 

Packages are sent via Australian standard post (from 2536 NSW), with a tracking number. You will be notified via email when your parcel is on its way. 

If you live within the Batemans Bay region (NSW), I offer a local delivery for a $2 fee. Please select this option in the checkout and I will contact you directly to arrange. 

I also offer a local pick up option. Contact me for more information.

Returns & Exchanges

Due to hygienic reasons, I cannot accept returns. If there is a fault with your earrings or if they break within the first 30 days of arrival, I will provide a shopping credit, or where possible, fix the earring free of charge.

Colours

I make every effort to ensure my website images truly reflect my pieces accurately. Please keep in mind that colours may appear slightly different on your computer and phone screens.

Safety

My earrings contain small parts that can pose a safety risk. Please keep your earrings away from babies, small children and pets. 

​

Materials

Polymer Clay is used to create all earrings. 

I use surgical steel earrings posts that are perfect for sensitive ears. 

Some earrings have brass and metal components attached.

A note on handmade...

GRACE SAID THAT earrings are all hand sculpted using polymer clay.

The clay is conditioned, designed, sanded, buffed and polished by hand to ensure a unique and beautiful finish.

 

The beauty of clay is it's ability to be perfectly imperfect. The nature of the handmade process can lead to slight 'imperfections' which I believe add to the story and charm of each piece. No two earrings are ever the same. I only send out earrings that I would be happy to wear myself.
